We aim to provide you with an independent look at how you can implement the Learning Challenge Curriculum successfully in your school.

The support will consider:

LCC Intent

• Have you selected/ ordered the units to suit your setting and are you using them to develop a narrative throughout individual subject areas and across the wider curriculum?
• Are there areas of the planning that you wish to adapt or develop to suit your children and locality?
• Do any of your staff members need support with navigating the Learning Challenge Curriculum website? Are teachers and subject leaders aware of all the resources that might be useful to them, such as retrieval and assessment elements?

LCC Implementation

• Have staff members encountered any issues delivering the content of the Learning Challenge Curriculum?
• Do teachers understand and deliver the content effectively? How is this measured in terms of pupil outcomes?
• Do staff members need more support with subject knowledge to deliver the units of learning more effectively?

What we can offer:

• INSET/staff meeting time to ensure all staff members understand how the Learning Challenge Curriculum is constructed and where to find the resources they need on the website.
• A curriculum review day, looking at how the Learning Challenge Curriculum has been implemented within your school (including lesson drop-ins, book monitoring, pupil voice and feedback to subject leaders).
• A day of 1-1 support, working with individual teachers or year groups to ensure that the Learning Challenge Curriculum units are fully understood and working effectively for your setting.
• INSET/staff meeting time to develop specific areas of subject knowledge.
• Support in developing the use of great texts to create links between writing and the wider curriculum.
