The materials available in this section will help leaders and teachers plan for a progressive approach to the curriculum.

The view has been taken to set out curricular content in year groups and provide ‘challenge statements’ for each year group in order to ensure the most able pupils are stretched.

In some cases, e.g. art, there is little guidance provided within the new National Curriculum so we have created additional statements to provide teachers with a sense of continuity and progression for each subject.
