The Learning Challenge ™ Curriculum provides opportunities for Early Years practitioners to use the same principles as set out for Key Stages 1 and 2. The principles within the EYFS curriculum, i.e. child initiated and enquiry based learning, supports this way of working and thinking. Enquiry-based learning is seen as an important component of the Learning Challenge ™ Curriculum and therefore sits happily with the format anticipated in the Early Years. Issues associated with transition should be minimised by using the Learning Challenge approach from FS1.
